The theme this year was aliens. Roswell, Area 51, little green men, Slimy BEMs, anything that has to do with scary things from outer space.

A spaceship of unknown origin has just crashed into a suburban house. Various goverment agencies are responding, but do not yet have the manpower to keep sightseers away. Inside the ship, some scientists are examining the ship and its dead occupants while soldiers patrol the corridors, looking for any threat. Unbeknownst to all, the ship’s malfunctioning engines have created a space/time warp which has pulled in other worlds, dangers and scares.
